Roshan Shrestha
Roshan Shrestha is a third-year BA (Hons) Architecture student with a passion for human-centred design. Shrestha's architectural journey is driven by a curiosity about how spaces shape human behavior and community. Practically, he brings ideas to life through a strong digital toolkit, drafting precisely in AutoCAD, modelling complex forms in Rhino and SketchUp, and creating immersive atmospheres with Enscape and Photoshop. Shrestha loves the challenge of taking a complex design problem and finding an elegant, sustainable solution. When he is not sketching or rendering, you can usually find him exploring city architecture, camera in hand, looking for inspiration in everyday urban spaces.

This project redefines a community theatre by thoughtfully integrating a supportive homeless shelter within the same building fabric to foster social connection and shared dignity. The auditorium design features warm, terraced timber seating facing an intimate stage, all framed by striking vertical bands of glowing red light that bring a hopeful, electric energy to the space. This venue reflects Shrestha's design creating beautiful, living sanctuaries that serve the entire community and offer a sense of belonging to everyone who walks through the doors.
