Poppy Wormald
Poppy Wormald is a Visual Communication Design student at Ravensbourne University London. Wormald has been developing skills in graphic design and visual storytelling throughout the course. By exploring different techniques and styles, they have built confidence in their creative abilities and experimented with new ideas.
Wormald will be continuing their education at Liverpool John Moores University, where they are excited to further develop their skills and expand their understanding of graphic design. This next step will allow them to explore more advanced techniques and continue growing as a creative practitioner.
Wormald has greatly enjoyed the course because it has provided the opportunity to discover their own creative style, particularly through the use of colour, layout, and composition. They enjoy experimenting with bold visuals and combining graphic elements to create impactful designs. Their work reflects an interest in modern visual culture and a passion for creating expressive and engaging designs.
Through their work, Wormald has developed strong creative and technical skills using industry standard design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. These tools allow them to bring ideas to life, whether editing images, creating detailed illustrations, or designing professional layouts. Wormald is confident in using these programs to experiment with different styles, refine designs, and produce high quality outcomes. Their ability to combine creativity with technical skills helps them communicate ideas effectively and present work in a polished and professional way.
