Julian Oehlen
Julian Oehlen is a designer that moves fluidly between systems thinking and refined material craft, building products that feel both intelligent and deeply grounded in the real world. His work treats sustainability as a default operating principle, not a marketing angle, allowing environmental responsibility to sit quietly inside every decision rather than dominate the narrative. He designs with intention, every fixing, material choice, and structural move has a clear reason to exist, creating products that are technically credible and aesthetically precise.

North are bike packing bags built around a fully PFAS free material palette and high performance recycled fabrics to genuinely lower the environmental impact. Focusing on the everyday needs and issues of the modern bike packer, this product sets itself apart through an effortless connection between bag and fork. Designed to work in the toughest conditions and operate easily even when your hands are cold and wet!

The mounting system uses magnetic assistance to glide the bag into perfect position on the fork, removing any need for force or fine alignment. Once in place, the rider simply pulls the straps down to lock it, creating a fully secure connection that stays solid no matter the terrain.

The bag uses an internal structural plate that gives it a crisp, stable shape while keeping weight low. By relying on this integrated support, it eliminates the need for an aluminium fork cage and avoids the usual mess of straps and buckles that make other setups bulky and frustrating to handle.

Say bye to wrestling with multiple loose bags when unloading a fully packed bike. The North bags are designed to attach directly to each other, forming one easy to carry unit.
