Cevizli is a creative and open-minded designer with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude towards new experiences. She is currently working on her Final Major Project at Ravensbourne University London. Her collection, A Clown Who Loves Pleats, reflects her interest in experimental textile techniques and materials. As a textiles-based designer, she has worked with pleats, cement, paper, latex, and other unconventional materials to develop innovative surfaces and textures. By cutting and folding fabric on the bias, she creates her own version of pleats with a bouncy, sculptural movement. Using striped printed fabrics enhances the distorted, illusion-like effect within the collection. After graduating, Cevizli hopes to work in the fashion industry within textiles, costume design, and haute couture.
