Henriette Lindgren is a woman’s wear designer and fashion writer with a interest in how creative culture and politics reflect each other. Henriette’s graduate collection is influenced by her experience working for Tarinii a men’s wear brand with focus on sustainability.
Her education at Ravensbourne University London has shaped how she explored fashion, culture and politics, through research in literature and visual arts.
Her graduate collection has been influenced by her questioning whether there is a shift towards 'animalistic instinct' in position of power. The collection explores the current global political situation through symbolic references in a visual language.
Her critical thinking has developed into a interest in critical writing, exploring her reflections in articles. For her submission for the BFC x TANK magazine competition on sustainability, she wrote an article exploring patients as a form of art and argue that if sustainably is about preserving resources, then the most endangered resource in the creative industry must be time….
