Stanton is an emerging fashion designer and creative building a brand that combines dark, alternative aesthetics with sustainability and social impact.
Before starting the course, Stanton felt uncertain about his future and had little experience within fashion, including no knowledge of using a sewing machine. Through dedication, perseverance, and the support of tutors and peers, he has developed strong technical and creative skills while discovering a genuine passion for fashion design. As someone on the autism spectrum who has faced social challenges, the course has also helped him build confidence and step outside of his comfort zone within a creative environment.
Stanton has developed particular strengths in CAD, especially using Adobe Illustrator, alongside sketching and concept development. He is especially interested in alternative fashion, club fashion, and streetwear, using these influences to shape a distinct creative identity.
Alongside his studies, Stanton founded his own fashion brand, REVOS, named after Erebus, the primordial Greek god of darkness. Through REVOS, he is preparing to launch his first products while actively promoting the brand and building an audience. Sustainability and social impact are central to Stanton's vision. He aims to use sustainable materials and responsible design practices to reduce the harmful environmental impact of fashion, while also using his brand as a platform to support wider social issues such as homelessness.
Looking ahead, Stanton aims to establish himself as both a fashion designer and creative director, gaining industry experience while continuing to grow REVOS into a meaningful and impactful brand.
