Olivia Cara
Olivia Cara is a BA (Hons) Fashion Buying and Brand Management student with a strong interest in branding, consumer behaviour and strategic product development within the contemporary fashion industry. Her work combines commercial awareness with refined visual identity, focusing on creating cohesive and consumer focused brand concepts.
Cara particularly enjoys the buying and strategic side of fashion, including trend forecasting, merchandising, consumer profiling, pricing architecture and brand positioning. Her creative approach is influenced by minimal aesthetics, elevated everyday dressing and clean visual storytelling, often combining considered product development with strong and cohesive brand identity systems. Her Final Major Project, Gia, explores the growing reformer Pilates market through a contemporary activewear brand centred around minimal aesthetics, responsible production and functionality designed specifically for movement. The project combines product development, sourcing strategy, branding and retail planning to create a commercially realistic and cohesive business concept.
Through both academic projects and industry experience, Cara continues to develop a balanced approach between creativity and commercial thinking, aiming to create concepts that feel intentional, relevant and visually refined within the contemporary fashion market.
