Ihsan Ullah is a strategic designer and “Visual Semanticist" specialising in brand design, visual identity, and motion graphics. He grounds his creative process in cultural truth, using statistics and anecdotal evidence to develop identities that resonate beyond aesthetics.
His featured project, "Pick Me!" is a party card game designed to bring Gen Z’s performative online dating behaviours into the real world. By mirroring common dating archetypes (such as the Ghost, the Stalker, and the Gaslighter) to spark subconscious self-reflection rather than preaching change. Ullah managed every stage of the project’s lifecycle, from analysing dating app data and cultural insights to hand-folding the first physical prototypes. The result is an engaging medium that turns social observation into a playable experience. Ullah’s versatility extends beyond product design.
He is currently the project manager for the NEXUS 2026 Student Showcase, leading a team to scale a digital identity across a nine-floor physical exhibition. His professional experience includes winning the logo competition for edtech startup Shine.AI, where he later served as a content manager producing motion graphics and social media campaigns. Ullah is a tech-fluent maker who believes every design choice should have a logical and ambitious reason for existing.
