Eryk Kordowski

Eryk Kordowski is an architecture student, who is interested in theory and natural materials. Their recent Final Major Project is titled, The Collective Lens, a mixed-use educational building combining a public observatory and a pottery studio, exploring observation across both cosmic and material scales. Constructed mainly from rammed earth and reclaimed brick, while the green roof extends the ecological ambitions of the surrounding heath-line corridor. The building integrates spaces for making, storage and observation, fostering shared experience through craft and science.

The first image shows a first-person perspective painting of the front facade, capturing the buildings presence along Kentish Town Road and its relationship to the street. The second image is an isometric section, revealing the internal organisation, materiality, and key spaces, including pottery storage, and the observatory dome. This illustrates the dialogue between structure, use, and atmosphere.
