Elsie Caplowe is a designer and illustrator with a previous education in SFX stage makeup. Completing her current Art and Design Foundation Diploma, she is preparing for a degree in Illustration and Concept Design at Ravensbourne University London. She is exploring the education system and her experiences surrounding inclusive education, as well as how it has impacted her own wellbeing.

Within her recent self-directed Foundation Project, Caplowe explored paint, ink, and tea-staining techniques to communicate her experience of going through school with dyslexia. Through form, texture, and pattern, Caplowe aims to highlight more unique approaches to creating art and depicting personal narratives.
