Amelia Regan

Amelia Regan is an aspiring graphic designer and illustrator studying Visual Communications at Ravensbourne University London on a foundation degree. She hopes to progress into full-time work or an apprenticeship, either as a creative practitioner or in an administrative position within a creative environment.

Regan primarily focuses on storytelling and personal narratives. She mainly works digitally using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and the Adobe Creative Cloud, alongside analogue materials such as coloured pencil, greyscale pencil, acrylic paint, and watercolour paint.

Ultimately, Regan’s work is influenced by artists such as Tracey Emin, Quentin Blake, and Lucian Freud. Throughout her work, she aims to raise awareness of issues that are less spoken about and bring attention to topics that are often avoided due to discomfort.

Tarot Cards
Tarot CardsFor this project, Regan was asked to create either playing cards or tarot cards and chose to design tarot cards. The designs were based on fantasy characters, although the text for the cards was not added to the final outcome.
TRAID
TRAID For this project Regan worked with TRAID to create a window campaign. Her group created a theme called “jewelled figure” and this was from the campaign photo. This image includes the 2 outfits we created to be shown in the window. As a group as worked together to design the clothes, the theme, the photoshoot and the editing.
Short Film Poster
Short Film PosterThis was the film poster that Regan created in response to a group short film project. The film was a parody based on famous horror films, and Regan aimed to reflect this in the poster by adding a comedic twist to the original Scream movie poster.
