This project involves designing a food court at 2 Prince of Wales Road, Kentish Town, with an observatory above. To be able to provide a place where people may meet, eat, and engage in astronomy, the plan combines social and educational functions.
A wide range of people, including locals, tourists, kids and adults, is the proposals target audience. Everyone, regardless of age or background, may use and enjoy the place because it is completely accessible.
The proposal’s main goal is to establish a free and easily accessible public space that encourages social engagement and education. A food court encourages economic diversity and community involvement by supporting small, local vendors rather than big corporate chains. In addition, the observatory offers a chance for astronomical interest and public education.
