Honey Hinneh is an emerging sound artist and curator currently in her final year of a BA (Hons) Music and Sound Design at Ravensbourne University London. Her practice develops research-led projects that explore the visibility and representation of women in live music performance.
Hinneh's Final Major Project, Femme Sur Scène (Woman on Stage), takes the form of an exhibition-concert developed from an ongoing survey-based investigation into women’s presence on stage. Initiated through a questionnaire addressing access, visibility and professional experiences of women musicians, the project operates as a public-facing curatorial and performative platform. Bringing together invited visual artists and live musicians, the project combines live performance, photography, video projection and spatial installation. It creates an immersive environment where audiences engage with the research and contribute to the ongoing study.
Working across sound, visual media and curatorial practice, Hinneh is interested in how artistic environments can function as spaces of collective reflection and dialogue. Alongside her creative work, she has developed experience in project coordination, production and technical installation within professional contexts.
