Charlston Aslêt

Charlston Aslêt is a mature student and wheelchair user who is passionate about architecture that truly incorporates use for all, taking the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995 and making it work for everyone, not just as a “make do” solution, but to truly bring architecture into the modern day. Unbelievably, it has been three decades since it was introduced, yet architects still find excuses not to implement it fully. He truly sees it as something needed and beneficial for everyone, not just the disabled community.
