Bleona Qamili is an emerging fashion designer whose practice centres on conceptual design and the development of garments that communicate social and cultural narratives. Her work explores the relationship between form, textures, and meaning using clothing as a medium to translate ideas into wearable pieces with strong visual impact. Working with a research-led approach, Qamili draws inspiration from contemporary issues, historical references and personal observations. She is particularly interested in experimentation through silhouette, textile manipulation, and unconventional construction methods, allowing each project to evolve through both critical thinking and hands-on making.

As Qamili progresses into her BA studies in Fashion Design, she plans to specialise in knitwear, where she aims to expand her technical knowledge and push the boundaries of material innovation. She is especially drawn to the versatility of knit as a medium for creating sculptural forms and Intricate textures. Through her practice, Qamili seeks to develop a distinctive design language that balances conceptual depth with contemporary relevance, creating work with that is both experimental and meaningful.
