Arrow Demuth

Arrow Demuth (He/They) is an illustrator from the south west of the UK.

Demuth believes that it is crucial to for people to see themselves represented in media and, as a queer person, understands the power of representation and the influence it can have on society. He endeavours to create work that makes their audience feel seen, heard and validated and often draws on his own experiences to create authentic and relatable narratives.

Demuth is inspired by his interests, such as theatre and motorsports, and often utilises these to motivate and inform his practice.

He is a passionate storyteller who specialises in watercolour, coloured pencil and digital illustration, and enjoys finding new ways to combine the three in his work. They strive to create characters and stories that provide a sense of belonging and community for their audiences.

Demuth constantly tries to develop his skillset, and often posts his work on Instagram (@paiintbrush_).
