Amelia Richards is an aspiring offline editor and colourist and a certified DaVinci Resolve Professional who specialises in short-form content.
Before studying at Ravensbourne University London, Richards studied Creative Media Production at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College for four years where she discovered her passion for video editing and learned basic video editing techniques on Premiere Pro alongside learning about various filming techniques from creating and planning flims to operating cameras, lights and mics for sound.
During her time at Ravensbourne University London, Richards has developed more advanced skills in Premier Pro as well as developing skills in other video editing software such as Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve.
Aside from being a keen offline editor, Richards is also a keen colourist. Over the past couple of years, she has been improving her skills in colour grading and has completed a colour grading course on LinkedIn Learning. Her proudest achievement over the last year is achieving three certificates from Blackmagic Design for completing three courses from the official DaVinci Resolve training program.
Richards's main goal for the future is to become a freelance offline editor and colourist for short-form content.
